The moat
Most job boards optimize for listing volume. Rotation optimizes for the opposite — that every role you see is real, live, and from the company actually doing the hiring. These are the standards every listing on the platform must clear.
Effective June 2026
At launch, Rotation lists roles from direct employers only — operators that fly aircraft and the OEMs that build them. No staffing agencies, no re-hosted forms, no commission middlemen. The “Apply” button takes you to the employer’s own application system, and we say so on every listing.
A ghost job is a listing that is expired, filled, or never real but still collecting applications. Rotation re-checks the source link behind every listing on a continuous schedule. When a link goes dead, the listing is closed within 24 hours of detection. The link check is not optional and not skippable — it is the core of the platform.
Every listing shows when its source link was last verified — not when a record was last touched in a database. You can see the freshness distribution for the whole board on the stats page. We report the real numbers, including listings whose last check is older than 24 hours, rather than rounding them away.
Rotation never models, ranges, or guesses pay. Compensation figures and labels come only from the job posting itself. When a posting does not disclose pay, we show that plainly and label the listing as non-disclosed — we never fill the gap with an estimate of our own. If a posting marks its own figure as an estimate, we label it as the posting’s estimate, never as ours.
There is no code path on Rotation that batch-creates candidate profiles. A profile exists only when a real person signs in and creates it. This is built into the structure of the platform, not just a policy we promise to follow.
When a pilot or mechanic verifies a credential, the result — match or no-match, plus the ratings on file — is returned only to the profile owner. Rotation does not publish, sell, or expose the underlying records, and there is no public route to that data.
A listing that should be closed, a link that should be dead, a comp figure that looks wrong — tell us. We act on corrections and dead links within 24 hours. Reach us from the contact page.
